Bonnie Gray :: Originally
from Indianapolis Indiana, Bonnie began performing
professionally at age 12. As a stage performer, she has done
it all. Theme parks, Dinner Theater, Cruise Ship shows,
Cabaret shows, Orchestra appearances, Nightclub work, and
Casino work. Since moving to Florida in 1982, she has
performed across the state, including appearances as the
“Opening Act” for comedian G. David Howard, Ray (Tell Laura I
Love Her) Petersen, The Marcels, and Lenny Dee.
She has also been a featured performer and choreographer for
many Florida revue shows, including shows for Bonnie Gray
Productions, Empress Cruise Lines, Europa Sun Cruz, D& S
Productions, The Crystal Playhouse Dinner Theater, and the
Charlotte County Cultural Center.
Currently she juggles her performance schedule with her work
as a choreographer, performance coach, teacher, and thespian
adjucator, and has recently recorded several “Audio Textbooks”
for use by vision impaired students of the Florida Public
School system. She performs regularly with “Big Z and the
Sophistikatz” a 10 piece swing/blues/soul band based in
Bradenton, Florida.
This season she plans to provide choreography for the musical
“State Fair” presented by The Charlotte Players, to continue
to teach and coach dancers and of course- continue to perform
at every opportunity.
Bonnie teaches private classes and movement for young actors
at Venue Actors Studio.
