|
Terri Crymes is a native of Bellevue, Nebraska. Her love of theatre was cultivated from a very young age as a result of growing up in an “artsy” family. She appeared in her first production at the age of 3. Her love of performing arts was further cultivated in the public school system of her hometown. Shortly after graduating high school Terri moved to Florida with her mother where she attended college. In 2003 Terri received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida. Since graduating from UCF Terri has been able to fulfill her dreams of performing professionally. She has worked in children’s theatre (Jungle Book, A Christmas Carol, Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse), mainstream theatre (Vote!, A Servant of Two Masters, Women Behind Bars) and musical theatre (Little Shop of Horrors, Company, Lucky Stiff)and even been a part of a regional premier (Storyville). Terri is very happy to still be performing and now having the opportunity to bring the skills she has learned in her almost 25 years in theatre to a new generation of theatre performers.
Terri joins the staff of Venue Actors Studio working with young actors in Musical Theatre, Vocal Instruction, and Summer Camps
